Los suecos de Falun debutaban en 2010 con un disco de glam rock. Regresan en 2012 con su segundo, dividido en tres entregas, dispuestos a no dejarse en el tintero ninguna de sus perversiones. Sus fans les demandaron que volcaran la sangre del directo en el disco y ellos se han vuelto complacientes. Atamos al bajista Nic Lester a nuestra silla de interrogatorio estadéico y respondió eufórico a nuestras preguntas entre pinchazo y pinchazo de tridente.
En primer lugar, nos gustaría saber qué se puede comprar con un billón de dólares.
Con un billón puedes comprarte diez yates de 100 millones.
Acabais de publicar la parte I de vuestro segundo disco y hay una gran diferencia si lo comparamos con vuestro debut: el primero era más glam rock y este es más heavy. Tocásteis en directo en 2010 ‘In The Back Of My Limousine’. ¿Cómo sucedió esta evolución radical? ¿Después de acabar el primer disco teníais alguna idea sobre cómo iba a ser el siguiente?
Puede parecer radical pero cuando fuimos a la carretera después de publicar ‘Die For Diamonds’ la gente nos dijo que en directo sonábamos más heavies y más crudos que en el disco. Nos encanta ese sonido por lo que sí, supimos que teníamos que capturar ese sonido para nuestra próximo lanzamiento.
Pensamos que alguien tiene que poner una nueva energía en la escena del rock Escandinavo y es lo que estamos haciendo con este tres piezas de EP. Vamos a volar las cabezas de la gente.

Vuestro primer single es ‘In The Back Of My Limousine’. Sabemos lo que ocurre en el Cadillac de CC Catch y en el coche de Roxette, pero qué ocurre en la limusina de Billion Dollar Millionaires?
Es una máquina de matar procedente del infierno.
Habéis reeemplazado al batería. ¿Dependió de que el nuevo sonido que estábais desarrollando requería otro tipo de batería o se debió a otras razones?
No, no se debió a eso y la razón no es importante. Lo importante es que encontramos a Anthony Fox y que nos hemos vuelto más poderosos que nunca.
Acaba de publicarse la primera parte de vuestro disco. ¿Por qué estáis publicando el disco en tres partees y por qué con esas fechas de publicación?
Queremos que las cosas sucedan más a menudo. Los fans van a prestar atención a cada canción y cuando realmente quieras más, te daremos más. Habrá tres portadas maravillosas y un montón de artwork sabroso para coleccionar para que no dejemos nada pendiente.

En ‘Die For Diamonds’ grabásteis un video. ¿Váis a grabar algún vídeo para este nuevo? Si váis a hacerlo, ¿cuál va a ser el concepto?
Sí, vamos a grabar vídeos y el concepto será brutal.
Sugerís en vuestra hoja promoctional que en vuestra nueva direccion queréis plasmar el espíritu de vuestras actuaciones en directo, no sólo destellos. ¿Qué vamos a encontrar en vuestro tour?
No vamos a reprimirnos para nada. Esperad un montón de fuego, pirotecnia, humo, electricidad, esquizofrenia, sangre, pesadillas y chicas malas.
Sois una de esas bandas que pudimos concoer a través de MySpace. ¿Cómo creeis que estas páginas como Spotify y Facebook funcionan a la hora de promocionar vuestra carrera? ¿Y qué otras artimañas promocionales propias estáis usando?
Amamos estas páginas y vamos a estar en todas aquellas que nuestros fans consideren que debemos estar.
¿Váis a girar para promocionar este disco? ¿Qué países os gustaría visitar?
Sí, vamos a girar un montón y vamos a centrarnos en Escandinavia y en Europa, en 2012 y en 2013.

“Someone has to put some new energy into the Scandinavian rock scene”
The Swedish from Falun debuted in 2010 with a glam rock record. They come back in 2012 with their second, divided in three parts, ready not to forget any of their perversions. Their fans demanded that they brang in the blood from live into the record and they have become pleasing. We tied bassist Nic Lester to our estadeic examination chair and he answered euphoric to our questions, boosted by the piercing of our trident.
First of all, we’d like to know what you can buy with a billion dollar.
You can buy ten $ 100 million yachts with a billion $.
You just released Part I of your second record and there’s a world of difference if we compare it with your debut: the first was more glam rock and this is heavier. You performed live In The Back Of My Limousine in 2010. How this radical evolution happened? Did you have any idea after the first album was released which way you were going in the next?
It may seem radical but when we hit the road after releasing Die For Diamonds people told us that we got a much heavier and more raw sound live compared to the sound ending up on the album.
We like that sound a lot so yes we knew that we had to capture that on the next release.
We feel that someone has to put some new energy into the Scandinavian rock scene and that’s what we are doing with this three piece EP series. We are going to blow peoples heads off.
Your first single it’s ‘In The Back Of My Limousine’. We knows what happens in the Cadillac of CC Catch and in the car of Roxette, but what’s the fuzz in the limousine of Billion Dollar Millionaires?
It is a murder machine from hell.
You have replaced your drummer. Did that depend on that the new sound you were developing required other kind of drummer or were there or others reasons involved?
No that wasn’t the reason and the reason is not important. The important thing is that we found Anthony Fox and we became more powerful than ever!

The first part of your album has just come out. Why are you releasing the new album in three parts and why in those release dates?
We want things to happen more often. The fans are going to pay attention to every song and when you really want more, we will give you more. There will be three amazing covers and lots of tasty artwork to collect so we are not holding back on anything.
For ‘Die For Diamonds’ you recorded a video. Are you recording any videos for this new album? If so, what’s going to be the concept?
Yes we are and the concept will be mental.
You suggest in your promotional sheet that in your new direction you want to show the spirit of your live performances in your music all the time, not in glimpses. What are we going to find in your tour?

Yes, we will tour a lot and we are focusing on Scandinavia and Europe 2012 and 2013.
