Devil’s Train ‘Devil’s Train’

ENGLISH VERSION

Passengers, jump to the train! The debut of this supergroup –with members of Mystic Prophecy, of Stratovarious, and of Evergrey– goes at full speed to hell, without stops. The guys of R.D. Liapakis have nothing of chuchú train old walker and from the single, the cover of ‘American Woman‘, warn you they are going to be on the spot this year. Layers of grunge, of classic rock, of metal, and of blues are put on the top of the other in this solid cake that can be eaten with the fingers without leave them dirty.

It’s rock for Harley and for burning the wheels–’Devil’s Train‘-, for dirty motels in the road with dirty canteens–’Roll The Dice‘, ‘Room 66/64‘- for having a woman with fierceness and remind her what a man is–Sweet Devil’s Kiss-, to find oneself all the way through and fight the inside demons–’To The Ground‘, ‘The Answers‘, ‘Coming Home‘, ‘Yellow Blaze‘- or to remember the day that one fell in love with rock–’Fire And Water‘-.

Everything in them sounds for real and firm as a flagpole, even in the love themes. ‘Forever‘, slower, sounds passionate to the bone in the performance and the lyrics: “You are the love of my life and I need you to survive”, they tell us. ‘Find New Love‘, more kick-ass, brings to mind the songs of Jonathan Davis for the soundtrack of ‘The Queen Of The Damned‘, and assures that when he finds new love it’ll be the time for a new era.

Choruses are catchy, the guitar of Laki Ragazas it’s a trident that nails with medieval rage and the vocals are of a messianic deepness, as if David Coverdale would sing in Disturbed.

A record that admits many plays, one of the big ones of 2012.
