It’s All About Tonight‘.

This is rock’n’roll, honey!

Y después de ella tocaron el single ‘Livin’ On The Run‘.

ENGLISH VESRION

We flied to Gothenburg to witness the lost of virginity as headliners of H.E.A.T. in the presence of the also Swedish Crazy Lixx and The Gloria Story. We trusted the loving arts of the guys from Stockholm, but we didn’t expect a constant orgasm with risk of hyperventilation.

The local The Gloria Story were in charge of the warming up. Their rock from the 70s oozed attitude and enthusiasm. This is another Swedish band for the must list, which unfairly had little audience. We hope that improves for the next two dates on the tour, Stockholm and Malmo, because these guys are very catchy and it’s impossible not ending singing for days ‘I Can Make You Run‘ (vídeo) and ‘Adore‘.

Crazy Lixx added high impact caresses to the electric kisses of the previous band. The line up was back with Joel Cirera on drums, but without Loke Rivano on bass. Danny Rexon showed an inusual vocal skill and only had some problems on the third or fourth song. The heavier songs of the new album, as well as classics as ‘Want It‘ (vídeo), ‘21 Til I Die‘ and ‘Lock Up Your Daughters‘ prepared the body for the friction demanded by the ones of Uppslands-Väsby.

Feeling the heat

We hit the point when reviewing ‘Address The Nation‘ pointed out ‘Breaking The Silence‘ as opening track for their concerts. They used for the first time their sheets of Mimosín with such a movements…! Though he had a cold, the voice of Erik Grönwall wasn’t affected and delighted us in perfect form for 19 songs. We didn’t even think of Leckremo.

A musician only first headlines once and it seemed like the rehearsals in the Rocky Balboa mood announced on their facebook were fruitful: the concert was an universal multiorgasm. The two guitarists gave their best on the solos: the wasted-in the way of Winger sex symbol Eric Rivers, before ‘Downtown‘, and the unique Dave Dalone introducing on far west style ‘It’s All About Tonight‘. The official hunk, Crash, had also his moment, taking the most of his drums without no more excesses than making the faces we are all used to.

Grönwall pulled out his guitar to offer us more than 10 minutes of accoustic pleasure in the mix of ‘The One and Only‘ and ‘We’re Gonna Make It‘ and didn’t put her away until the end of ‘Who Can’t Stop The Rain‘. It seems unbelievable how much has this guy grown up since Swedish Idol and the huge frontman he’s becoming: moving, charismatic, energetic, all attitude and all skills. And honestly that new look of a Josh Todd of the 18th Century added to his mischief of cherub works well on him, no matter how much the teenager girls complain. This is rock’n’roll, honey!

The maximum ecstasy came when they linked ‘Beg Beg Beg‘ with ‘Rock’N’Roll‘ by Led Zeppelin, but, overall, bringing back live the sax and putting back the harmonica for In&Out Of Trouble, because our hearts –in love, not blind- felt the difference between performing one of their most delicious songs with touches of the most inspired Kenny G. Afterwards came ‘Livin’ On The Run‘.

The audience was just left to lick their feet in a fetish style: they gave away their virtue without being married and, then, their soul. From minute one they sang, danced, and answered to the interactions of Gronwall.

Every song let you begging for more, as a bow to the classic of Ratt. Could emotion get bigger at every step? Could heart beat fonder or could we keep on singing without losing our voice? They could have been playing for days and we still would have felt it was ending too soon.

They closed with their anthem ‘Keep On Dreaming‘, one of the most special songs of their career. Some of them gave five to the audience and we felt like in a soiree with friends, on the dreamland. And we took breaths of love by every pore; we had already had sweaty sex all the concert long.
