Tras la salida en 2012 de Erlend Jegstad (voz), y su posterior sustitución por Micke Holm, los suecos Outshine vuelven a la carga con una nueva versión del que fue su tercer LP, ‘Addiction‘, ahora bajo el nombre de ‘Prelude to Descent‘. El disco, que ha sido grabado por Svein Jensen (Sister Sin), y masterizado por Göran Finnberg (Opeth, Dark Tranquility, In Flames), se pondrá a la venta el próximo mes de mayo en Suecia, y junio para el resto de los mortales. Aunque de momento nos han dejado una joyita… su primer vídeo, ‘I was nothing‘. El clip fue grabado el pasado mes de febrero en Suecia, y muestra un sonido más oscuro y heavy que sus anteriores trabajos.

After the departure of Erlend Jegstad (vocals 05-12), and the admission of Micke Holm in his place, the swedish band Outshine will be releasing a new version of their third album, ‘Addiction‘, now called ‘Prelude to Descent‘. The album was recorded by Svein Jensen (Sister Sin) and mastered by Göran Finnberg (Opeth, Dark Tranquility, In Flames). This new effort will be available in Sweden on may, and later on june for the rest of us mortals. In the meantime, they share with us a little gem… a music video for the song ‘I was nothing‘. The video was shot on February in Sweden, and shows off their brand new look, and also a darker/heavy sound inspiration.
