Rumores y mucha luz sobre una posible reunión de Rage Against The Machine pululaban durante el mes de Mayo en internet y en las redes sociales, incluso el nombre Prophets Of Rage y su nuevo logo aparecían en carteles, hasta el momento anónimos, por las calles de Los Ángeles y todo el mundo se preguntaba que podría estar gestándose y especulando sobre el tema. Finalmente la incógnita se desveló y el súper grupo formado por: Tom Morello, Tim Commerford y Brad Will de RATM; Chuck D y Dj Lord de Public Enemy; y B-Real de Cypress Hill actuaron en el mítico Whiskey a Go-Go de Los Ángeles, evidentemente consiguiendo un sold-out.
Una vez disipadas las dudas, varios directos ya realizados y una gira por los States cerrada y que muchos afortunados esperan disfrutar más allá del charco, Tom Morello habla para el Wall Street Journal en una entrevista que podéis desmembrar aquí y en la que deja claro que de momento no habrá una reunión al completo de RATM. Su titular, «Rage Against The Machine sigue vivo en su nuevo grupo» entierra momentáneamente la idea de volver a ver a Zack De La Rocha al frente de una reunión, pero también realza el tremendo cocktail que han preparado maridando este combo de Rap y Metal para la ocasión. Y hablando de brebajes y preparados agitados con pasión y rabia, os facilitamos el set list de sus últimas descargas y por supuesto, la gira confirmada que recorrerá EEUU. Esperamos con ansia una gira europea que al menos, nos dé de refilón y nos deje tocados y hundidos en la guerrilla.
